Erik J. Anderson, CPA, CFP®, PFS, AIFA®, Owner and President of Employee Incentive Plans, Inc. graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Taxation. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas, Texas in the Personal Financial and Private Company Services division specializing in tax services for High Net Worth Individuals as well as financial and estate planning. Erik is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and holds the Personal Financial Services and Accredited Independent Fiduciary Analyst designations.
Erik is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Services Institute, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin where he teaches Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits. Erik serves on the Board of Directors for the University Masonic Charitable Foundation as well as the Serving Grace Foundation, and is involved with the Scottish Rite Learning Center, The Settlement Home for Children and the Austin Symphony.

Lisa A. Schallenberg, CPA, QKA, has been in the benefits field since 1991. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. Her knowledge of plan operations and administration allows our clients to receive the most efficient and timely plan services. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and has participated in public speaking and several community activities. Lisa has served on the IRS panel as an ERISA expert and is an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

Haley Williamson is an Austin native with over a decade of experience managing payrolls ranging from 10 to 6,000 employees. In addition to her payroll expertise, Haley has helped manage and scale HR and accounting functions for businesses in a variety of industries. She is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and member of SHRM and the American Payroll Association.
Bruce A. Rice, CPA, PFS, AIFA® started in the employee benefits field as a Tax Manager with Peat Marwick, one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the world. While there, he specialized in employee benefits and tax consulting for small to multinational publicly traded companies. He was trained in the benefits and consulting out of Peat Marwick National Office in Washington, D.C. His background and expertise provide an excellent foundation for consulting businesses in the development of retirement plans, cafeteria plans, and deferred compensation arrangements. He also will assist the principals of such businesses with personal financial and estate planning. His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Houston.
Bruce, who enjoys public speaking, was often invited by the Rhode Island Society of Public Accounting, Institute of Management Accountants and several Chamber of Commerce Associations to teach or lecture on benefits or tax issues. He has also lectured for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, served on the IRS panel as an ERISA expert and is a former adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Estate Planning Council of Central Texas, and the Austin Association of Life Underwriters. He formerly participated in the Funds Allocation Committee of the United Way of Austin and was a board member of the Family Elder Care of Austin. He has also served on the board of directors of the Learning Center of Austin.
Tyler Tasset, MS, CFP®
Tyler Tasset MS, CFP® graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance & Accounting and has a Masters in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. Tyler has worked for a fortune 500 company and as a financial analyst for financial firms located in Beijing and Shanghai. He holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and works in our private wealth management group helping high net worth business owners and key employees protect and grow their amassed wealth.
Donna Rice, QPA
Donna M. Rice, QPA has been in the benefits field since 1981. She was the Director of Plan Administration of a large pension consulting firm in Providence, Rhode Island before coming to Austin. Her expertise provides the technical knowledge required for administration and ongoing plan design. Donna has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston. She is a member of American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and has participated in several community activities.
Teri Daeschner, QPA, QKA
Teri Daeschner QPA, QKA has been in the qualified retirement plans field since 1988. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas State University. Teri has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of qualified plan administration, with a specialty in 401(k) plan conversions. Teri has been a member of ASPPA since 1995 and enjoys serving in her community.
Pam Steves, RFP
Pamela L. Steves, RFP has been in the benefits field since 1999. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. She entered the Benefits field after working 16 years with Chase Bank in their Trust and Estate Planning Department. She is a member of International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and is involved is several community activities.
Shelly M. Kirkgard
Shelly M. Kirkgard obtained a Master in Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 1988, and her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1986. Shelly has always worked in benefits administration, and has extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of qualified pension plan administration. She began her career in Human Resources and transitioned to third party administration in 1991.
